Club Belrose Golf News

Sunday was a lovely day for golf and our 2 Ball Multiplier event.

The multiplier event is one that requires a little bit of strategy and a lot of luck.

The pairs and groups were drawn at the club on Thursday and we kicked off the day at a respectable time.

The course was looking good as always and the greens became deadly once the dew had burnt off.

The winning pair were Wayne Starling & Jason Pugh with a combined score of 59 points,

closely followed by Brendan Ayres & Mike Odhavjee on 57

and a little further back to Ian Redfearn & Rob Preston on 52 points.

The silver medal winner for the day was Wayne Starling - our only member to play to his handicap with a neat 36.

It was good to see Wayne back in the winning circle

What a way to celebrate his 70th Birthday.

The Nearest the pin winners, where Ian Redfearn on the 2nd and Ian Preston on the 16th with the only birdie of the day.

The Jackpot was not won.

The current point score leader is Jason Pugh with 49 points.

The next game is the Bodega Cup which is held at Shelley Beach on the 28th March with a noon start.
