Kooindah Waters May 4th 2025
A week of rain in the lead up to the Memorial Shield on Yoda’s Day, saw the course with bunkers out of play, and carts staying on paths and fairways a little sodden under foot but much better than to be expected after the deluge we were served up.
The crows were out in force with Chris Andrews rescuing his ball from the water in front of the tees after his first shot of the day – only to have it stolen off the green by a crow on the 4th.
Others also reported stolen balls on the 17th, 4th and 7th with a noted favouring of yellow balls.
Winners on the day with 6 under and a net of 53.50
