Match Report – Eastlakes – 1st March
A smaller group of 11 set off at Eastlakes from the lunch-time tee off.
What was supposed to be a drizzly day turned out to be great, partially cloudy, golf weather.
The three groups got away promptly and around in good time, in under or on 4 hours.
The course was in generally great shape. Particularly the fairways and the greens, which were running quickly.
The scoring was quite bunched, with no big scores.
On the podium were: 3rd place – Warren Gibson with 36 points, 2nd place – Mark Gumbleton on 37 points, the winner was dark-horse Lee Henderson with 39 points. Wel done Lee.
