The day started off cloudy with risk of drizzle. After a few drops of rain early in the round, the morning improved into perfect golfing conditions. Sadly, the Asquith greens, fairways and tee-boxes weren’t up to their usual high standard with bare patches and WIP everywhere.
24 players got away quickly after 6:30am and all groups powered around in good time.
It seems that many players played well with some good scoring going on.
On the podium were: 3rd place – Kingi Reilly with 39 points, 2nd place – Warren Gibson on 42 points, the winner was our esteemed President, Matt Brown on 45 points. Well Done Matt.
