It was a cool but clear morning that improved as we played.
The course was reasonably dry with only a few wet patches. There was some run on a number of the fairways for a change. The greens were quite quick, especially considering the previous day’s drizzle.
18 players got away quickly at 7.22am and all groups got around the course in quick time. Scores were generally good with many players around the 30 points mark.
The winners on the day were:
1st place Steve Joyce with 37. Proving there’s a bit of life in the old dog yet.
2nd Thom Walsh with 36
3rd Kingi Reilly with 33 points
