The Annual Bodega Cup consisting of a 2 Ball best ball event with drawn partners was held at Kooindah Waters this year. The conditions were good and the course was in pretty good shape. Recent rains helped most people score well with Bunkers out of play. What a strange feeling to err towards a bunker for safety.
2 late scratching resulted in 25 members battling it out for the cup.
And as per tradition the banter and heckling from the deck watching the groups complete the 9th was another highlight of the day.
The cup winners were Ryan Wrigley & Alex Greig with a Combined points total of 48 points. Edging out a Matt & Gumby with 47 and and a trio of other groups with 46. Paul & Nick, Carl & Robbie, Dan & Mark
Congratulations to the silver medal winner Paul Stracey with a score of 42 beating Ryan Wrigley on a count back and 3rd place went to Nick Biniares on 38 points.
