The golf course was angry that day my friends. Like a pensioner who’s raffle meat tray has been stolen out of the fridge. 15 intrepid golfers set out to tame the great wet beast!
The weather was mostly fair, with only a couple of downpours as the 15 braved the dangers of fairways of lying water, GUR bunkers and heavy rough. Sadly, a number of golfers balls were lost in the Bermuda mud puddles.
Once the green was reached there was no safety from the dangers, as recently cored greens and the wet meant that heavy blows with the flat stick were required to beat the ball into the embrace of the great beasts hole.
Happily all brave souls survived, though only a few tamed the beast.
