The week leading up to the Sunday golf was marred with booking issues and venue and timing changes, but we finally sorted it out and confirmed Mona Vale for Sunday morning.
And what a lovely morning it was.
Warm and dry with only a light dew on the ground for the first few holes.
And enough of a breeze to keep you cool, without affecting your golf.
A 2 Ball multiplier and individual stableford event was run with 26 players in attendance.
The winner of the Multiplier was Josh Stracey & Josh McQuillan with a team score of 78 points.
Second place went to Robbie Rodriguez & Mitch Gullick – also with a team score of 78 points.
Third place being taken out by Darren Clayton-Ashe & Rob Preston on 74 points
The silver medal winner with a 6 point lead and convincing 47 individual points went to Robbie Rodriguez
The average score of all our players was 31 points which indicates that the conditions were good and that the course was in great shape for golf.
Nearest the pin winners were Matt Brown on the 14th and Mitch Gullick on the 16th.
The Jackpot was not won.
We have a new leader for the points trophy with Josh Stracey 40 points just edging in front of Alex Greig with 39 points.
The results are on the web site and will be displayed on the TV up at the club as usual.
