What a difference between days.
Hot and dry (40+ degrees ) to 25 and drizzling English rain.
7 Ambrose pairs took on the early morning tee off time and the wetter part of the day.
The remaining 14 Ambrose pairs gathered for the 8.00 am tee off slot which was scheduled behind the members early morning tee offs and several social golf clubs.
As planned the early morning groups tailed into the back of our main group and had to quickly adjusted to the slowness of play.
The weather improved a little bit throughout the day even if the golf did not.
The Annual 2 Ball Ambrose Party Day had a total of 42 members playing with nearest the pins on all par 3’s as well as a Drive and Approach and a Longest Drive hole.

As per normal we returned to Club Belrose for prawns, lunch and drinks that our fundraising efforts throughout the year allows us to provide.
Our thanks to the restaurant for providing us with a plentiful bounty – fit for a king or at least 2 people for each serving size.
The general raffle, charity raffle, trophy presentation and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at the completion of lunch with the standing down of the board and re-election as per the clubs bylaws.
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all our members for their contribution and assistance throughout the year.
